It's Great To Be 8!!

When each of my kids turn 8, I do a slideshow for them, but I also include clips of video that I've taken over the past 8 years.  Now it's Landon's turn and I know everyone says this, but I really can't believe he is this old!  He's the middle child and is so smart, talented and funny.  He cracks everyone up and LOVES sports of all kinds.  He wants to be a basketball player when he grows up and if that falls through, a sports commentator. ;) Love you Landon!

This Is Home

I'll Be There For You

This was one of the best days of my life! 14 years ago I went to BYU and got to be roommates with my cousin and best friend, but it didn't last long because I got married a year later. So for the next 13 years I waited for her to experience the same thing and the day FINALLY came! Love you guys!! This is a little segment I sometimes add on to the end of the regular edits. If I have a lot of extra footage, or bloopers, I like to throw it together old film style. "Just For Fun". :)

All You Need Is Love

Well, the day came and went, but it was a great day.  So fun to see my sister get married and so happy she found such a great guy.  They really are good together and I am so happy for them.  I am grateful for a fellow videographer, Heidi Adams Videography, for coming to take some footage for me at the temple and reception so that I could enjoy the day.  And then I put the videos together from there.  This is a huge post, but wanted to share all the videos from the day. ;) Please make sure you click on the HD button!

You're The One I Want

I'm super excited about this video because it is of my only sister! She gets married in a month and I am so happy for her.  They are very good together and quite a nice looking couple if I do say so myself. I had a lot of fun following them around on their engagement shoot. Photos are by David Newkirk Photography.

The photographer was nice and took a quick shot of Janessa and I while we waited for Drew to change shirts.  I was NOT expecting to get my picture taken that night, so I was in a sweatshirt and ponytail, but he told me to throw on one of Janessa's shirts, tuck it in, take my hair out and wallah! lol  Maybe the next photo shoot I'll at least do my hair. ;)

I Do Adore

Such a beautiful day for November!  We just had a huge snowstorm 5 days before, so it worked out perfect.  Loved working with this family, they are so fun.

Welcome Home!

I love experiencing new things, and this was definitely a first for me!!! It was so fun to be part of this event and to see all the excitement and emotions as a family welcomed home their missionary after being gone for 2 years!  I got invited to do this because this was my cousin's missionary!! Erika knew she wanted this moment captured on film and so she set it up and I was so excited she did.  I still tear up every time I watch it...what a special day!  I will tell you something funny.  When I edit, I usually try to keep things moving and cut down scenes as short as I can, just to make the video more interesting to watch.  But when it came to when Erika and Kyle finally got their hug, I just couldn't bear to cut anything out! This reception was GORGEOUS, held up at Red Butte Gardens.  This really was the best song for this video because everything really seemed to be perfect.  Perfect location, perfect evening and everything went so smoothly, it really was a fun time!
